  The caramel shortbread is the best here!  Today I had one with a mug of tea!  Go for the mug - it's bigger than a cuppa!  
  
  My dear husband ordered the ice cream with flake, but they were out of Flake.  The waitress came back a few minutes later and offered him fresh strawberries as an alternate topping!  The ice cream was huge and served in a frosty sundae glass.  Most importantly it was tasty!

  Lovely ladies serving who when I went to ordered seemed to take it personally that I didn't wait for table service ..... Erm I'm here just take my order .... No go sit down I'll come over ..... That argument went on a while, its certainly not a negative the sweet older lady was just being helpful
  
  Ordering the tea, immediately a bark of ... Cup or mug.... It's like I triggered some form of Tourette's .... Obviously mug for me.
  I actually got a cheese toasty too..... Don't tell my sister who I was meeting for lunch later.
  Was asked if I wanted it with or without the side salad.... Why actually .... Without thanks .... I don't care for it with a cheese toasty and I liked the option rather than them wasting salad on presentation, plenty of cheese in the toasty only thing is it had a bland taste to the bread, would preferred them to butter the bread before toasting.
  The cake was a strawberry Danish and my god it was lovely
  
  To sum up, I love the staff here it's like going to my grand house .... Only with better cakes ....  It looks modern however it's really just a local greasy spoon with aspirations of being more, again not a negative it's really a positive .... Great greasy spoon food in a clean and inciting setting

  A clean wee diner located in the heart of Partick. My tuna and cheese toastie was nice. It came griddle marked along with a side salad and an extremely generous serving of coleslaw.
  
  My partner's cooked brekie was not as good. The square sausage was overdone (we noticed a stack of them pre-cooked as we left so clearly they are reheated hence being overdone). He also felt the need to add an extra egg and sausage when ordering as it was a small full breakfast. Unfortunately this took the price up to £8 which seems steep, especially when the breakfast wasn't a 5* affair. The tea cup was clean but had a strange grey rim which was slightly off putting on an otherwise good brew.
  
  The staff were extremely friendly and the cafe itself is light and airy. We would go back but not for the cooked breakfast.

  Went here this morning for breakfast with my hubby. We both had the full all day breakfast. This was 2 rashers bacon, 1square sausage, 1black pud, 1 fried egg, 1 potato scone and either beans or tomato. This also comes with toast or a roll, and a mug of tea or coffee. This was a good plateful of food for a very reasonable price £11 for 2. Staff were friendly and it was clean.
  If I have a negative comment?.. It was a bit cold (most customers kept their coats on) and there was a bit of a wait (this was fine for us as the food was fresh).
  Would I go again? No. It was OK but didn't bowl me over, plenty of other places still to sample.  X

  Recently refurbished cafe on Dumbarton road, close to kelvin hall subway. Cosy pleasant place for breakfast and light lunches. Their hot filled rolls are a must for brekkie as is the full English.
